Colin E. Bailey, MD, FACS
Specialist in cosmetic surgery and modern vein care
Dr. Bailey is a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Medicine and is fellowship-trained in cosmetic surgery. He is board-certified by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is a member of various professional organizations. He’s also certified in general surgery. Prior to retraining in cosmetic surgery he spent a very gratifying 14 years performing adult cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery. 9 of those years were spent as the Director of Cardiovascular Services at a Midwest Regional Medical Center.

Medical Training
Dr. Bailey’s extensive medical training includes a Face & Body Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship from the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery in 2008-09, a Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery Residency at Indiana University from 1992 to 1994 where he served as Chief Resident in 1994, and a General Surgery Residency at Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan from 1987 to 1992 where he also served as Chief Resident in 1992. He obtained his M.D. from the University of Iowa in 1987 and completed his Bachelor of Science at the University of Iowa from 1980 to 1983.

Breast Revision Surgery
My implants were rupture really bad. I went to dr. Bailey to remove those implants. He really thorough and patient and Hope the nurse help a lot. Reminded me a lot before surgery. Make sure I did well about preparation. And after surgery…I had to stay overnight, dr. Bailey gave the room they call suite. It was really nice room. And Tiffany the one stay overnight in the office really nice and helpful. She’s sweet too. Thank you dr. Bailey, I feel much better now.
