Marking and Anesthesia
On the day when surgery takes place, Dr. Bailey draws lines to indicate where cuts will go. For example, he marks the belly for a tummy tuck, the breasts for work like lifts or adding implants, or other spots on the body for liposuction (removing fat with a tube) or specialized procedures. Next, an anesthesiologist administers general anesthesia that makes the patient fully asleep during the operation so they won’t feel anything and will be comfortable.
Incisions and Adjustment
Next, our surgeon performs precise incisions based on pre-surgical markings. For instance, in a tummy tuck procedure, he makes an incision above the pubic area horizontally. Then, he removes excess skin and fat and tightens the abdominal muscles. During a breast lift surgery, Dr. Bailey makes incisions around the areola as well as down each breast vertically so he can remove excess skin.
Closing the Incisions

Immediate Recovery

Initial Weeks
